Bold, Boutique… and quite simply, a brilliant bargain!
You’ll find The Jensen in trendy Potts Point, arguably Sydney’s answer to West Village New York. The guesthouse presents a fresh concept of budget-friendly boutique accommodation, with stylish contemporary design and thoughtfully appointed rooms.
Located on buzzing Macleay Street, it’s surrounded by some of Sydney’s most eclectic shops, cafes and restaurants.
Drenched in history, the area of Potts Point is well known for its charm and sass. The former playground of bohemians, entertainers, and modernist architects in the early 20th century, this bustling pocket of Sydney, alongside neighbouring Kings Cross, was famously called “the Glittering Mile’ — a red-light strip of neon fantasies, nightclubs, strip shows and 24-hour coffee bars. The famous red-light district may be a little tamer now, but the area still retains its character and lively nightlife.
On Saturdays, Kings Cross Market held in Fitzroy Gardens is filled with organic produce & local restaurant food stalls.
Nearby, Llankelly Place, just 5 mins walk, is a foodie hub of hip multicultural restaurants. Walk along tree-lined Victoria Street to find boutique bars and cafes, and check out adjacent Darlinghurst Road for larger pubs and clubs. From Victorian terraces to Art Deco and modernist gems, don’t forget to look up as you explore this historic and unique neighbourhood.
We highly recommend The Jensen Potts Point as a brilliant location for both short and long term stays.
